Day 2. Science Enrichment Prog. for Primary teachers

Day 2 - the program for today is full packed....as usual Jefrisalas, Liza Mohd & a few other was there hehehe...to cover the event.

The Science Enrichment programme for Belait District Primay School Teachers was co-organised between Oil & Gas Discovery Centre (OGDC) & Jawatan Kuasa Guru - guru Besar & Timbalan Guru - guru Besar Daerah Belait. 70 primary schools teachers from 14 primary schools from Belait District participate in the 2 days workshop..

The objective of organising the workshop is to enrich teachers with the necessary skill/knowledge in conducting hands-on science activities, and learning on how to communicate science to their students.

This is the 1st workshop organised by OGDC & JK Guru-guru Besar and insyallah! phase 2 of the program will be conducted after the 2nd term holiday.

Hj Mahmud covers a very interesting topic on 'creativity'. One quote I remember from Albert Enstein " Imagination is more powerful than knowledge"..which I totally agree....

....if people thought working at OGDC is a smooth sail and goyang kaki saja..Well! think again...today 2 simultaneous events goin' on at the same time..ie. Science Enrichment Programme for Belait District primary school teachers and visit by government Bomba new recruits..not forgetting last minit invitation for lunch.

..when working at OGDC ..we must all the time be on our toes for any last minit visits or adhoc project..and most importantly be prepare to work 24 - 7....

End of day 1 programme

My typical day at work

..like any other days... today was no different..got 1 meeting in the morning and another meeting in the afternoon on Brunei Shell Educational Road Safety Traffic Games competition and my gawd!!! never thought there're lots of preparation need to be done prior to the competition..arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!.

...and at the same time received surat perlantikan as the pengerusi bersama for skateboard competition for HM's Birthday in July. Never thought I will be elected again!!!...July goin' to be another busy month as the 4th National Tech. Challenge competition is just round the corner....
