Sakit lagi!...isnt that sad. The past few weeks my health had been deteriorating - I have been coughing viciously, irregularities in my heart beat as well as suffering from short of breath.....hiya! membari kepisan....eheheh. Never anticipate this...now I'm seriously behind schedule preparing for my next audit next week.

The nurses in PHY was shocked when I barge in to see Dr Dilip armed with my Nikon D60..heheeheh without appointment. (note: Dr. Dilip was my doctor last year when I hospitalised) Fortunately, Dr. Dilip agreed to see me and after brief consultation & physical check-up. I was asked to do chest X-ray, ECG, Blood Test and Urine Test all on the same day. By the time the test was over I was exhausted. This saturday, I have to see the cardiologist - as they found abnormalities in my ECG reading.

What exactly happens to poor me..after 7 years of tortured while working in OGDC, my body finally give-in! and last year I was hospitalise for nearly 2 weeks in which, I spent about a week in ICU. (refer to my previous blog. click here ). The caused, stressed. Moving out from OGDC to audit does not really help. Stress from work does ignite old illness. :) If my boss reads this she will sure flip! heheheeh.

My Kampung - Musim buah-buahan Part 1

...ada pepatah mengatakan, kalau ada buah baru ada saudara! There's a truth in the pepatah. Kalau musim buah baru tah saudara-saudara datang melawat. Saudara yang inda pernah berkunjung berkurun-kurun suddenly appear on the door step.

...musim buah ada jua keberkataan nya; menyatukan keluarga yang lama inda berjumpa dan mengeratkan silatulrahim yang telah lama terputus. Tapi sebabkan buah - keluarga boleh jadi purak purada..manakan inda, ada tia yang mengakun atu pulau buah bisdia, tapi kalau inda musim buah, batang hidung pun inda kelihatan.

...alhamduillah, our family are truly blessed. We have a few pulau (orchard) buah-buahan...hahahahah. But in the actual fact its a family plantation. True as what being said, we only appear only during the fruit season. Other than that, we disappear in our own world.

...its very condescending listening to some parents who are proud to say that their children doesnt even know some of the local fruits or even some of our youngsters cant differentiate between tarap/ nangka or tibadak...I'm really amazed! of such attitude...didnt they have the interest to learn or just pure ignorant. Parents have to responsibility to educate their children on our local fruits. Honestly, there's nothing to be proud of not knowing about our local fruits....

About 2 weeks ago decided to spent the weekend in Kg. Labi with my cousins .. Havent sleepover in the kampung for donkey years. If my memory serve me right, its in the late 70's or early 80's.. That's was during our younger years, when road are not fully asphalt and during those days...life was so simple, sleeping under the mosquitoes net or kelambu, no aircon or fans, or even TV. The night was brighten by kerosene lamp, etc...cheerish those fun memories.

Now for me...staying the weekend in the kampung is a stress relieve therapy and an opportunity to discover my root. If I can turn back time...I rather be a simple farmer that what I'm doing now.

BSRC Berhari Raya 2009

As a saying goes better be late than never- Hari Raya Adil Fitri left us weeks ago but that does not meant we can cant celebrate it!....

The committee did a good job is organising an exciting programmes..the nite was filled with laughters and the sound of screaming fans from brunei own comedian kumpulan 69. They were invited to emcee that nite...I never thought that they can pull it off..but after that night I eat my words. Good job guys!.. Its not only adults that love their wild, humorous antics but children as well, they are glue to their seats like bubble gum.

Guests were entertained by local artist such as The Seed, Pei Pei, Khairul (lurus kah nama nya!), Lively dancers and Dinda from Indonesia....siapa lagi ah! lupa ku. I'm so busy snapping that I didnot concetrate on the performance.....Before we were so obsessed inviting foreign singers for any of our Majlis but now our local singers are a must! Not because they are affortable (not sure how much they charged but I bet far cheaper than Malaysian artists) ..but they deliver the same performance or showmanship quality as Malaysian artists.

Honestly, this year Hari Raya celebration was far better than last year! people are more entertain & foods are plentiful.. I believe the 500 or so guests would agreed with me.
. Dont know what more to say except - kudos to the organising committee for a job well done.
