Brunei eXtreme Skateboard competition - Belait Open

The 2 days Brunei eXtreme skateboard competition inconjuction with His Majesty 62nd birthday celebration at Oil & Gas Discovery Centre (OGDC) starts today with Belait open.

Tomorrow, 27 July 2008 - Brunei Open and the prizes presentation ceremony. Prog. for tomorrow...

8.00am - 1.00pm: Brunei Open competition
2.00pm - arrival of the guest of honour
- In line skating demonstration
- Skateboard demostrating
- Prizes presentation ceremony for Belait & Brunei Open
5.00pm - End of ceremony

The competition was held at The Big Top, OGDC. What make this year competition 'interesting & challenging' is the new skateboard equipments from Rhino skate from German. If I am not mistaken..the only one in Borneo....specification meet the world standard...

This was taken yesterday, during the practice session...siuk looking at the guys trying out the ramp..at first they were struggling due to the steepness of the ramp..
