Motivational Talk

Today event is part of OGDC program 'Sekolah Angkat' project. To kick start the program 'yours truly' decided to invite none other than Brunei's one and only motivator (off course there're others but still prefer him) - Cikgu Ali Yusri bin Hj. Abd Gapor from unit kaunceling dan bimbingan bakat, Kementerian Pendidikan.

Truly great to see Cikgu Ali Yusri and havent had the chance to sembang-sembang with him for ages...he's not only a good friend but also a great motivator..

Untuk renungan bersama: Diantara ciri-ciri pelajar cemerlang,
* taat kepada perintah Allah
* menghormati kedua ibu bapa dan sentiasa mendoakan mereka
* hormati & sayangi guru
* bersungguh-sungguh dalam melakukan kerja untuk mencapai kecemerlangan
* bersikap positif
* mempunyai visi & matalamat hidup
* suka pada setiap mata pelajaran yang dipelajari
* berdoa dan bersyukur kepada Allah
* sentiasa bertawakal
* mahir dalam setiap mata pelajaran
* bijak mengurus diri
* melakukan hanya yang baik dan menjauhi perkara2 yang di tegah
* berusaha memperbaiki dirinya

Kita juga perlu ingat pelajar yang cemerlang, adalah juga cemerlang pada akhlak dan tingkah lakunya. Kecemerlangan pelajar bukan semata-mata dilihat pada nilai akademiknya sahaja. Semoga bermanfaat. :)

Liza Mohd's interviewing Cikgu Rahagi, AAC's principle

The 1st session is dedicated for form 3 students who will be sitting for their PMB exams in October. Cikgu Ali Yusri was talking about 'Ini Bukan Cobaan'....

Students listening attentively....I found a very interesting article on 'Motivation for students' from Inspirasibrunei

The journalist covering the talk...as part of 'our' strategy to promote the initiative

The 2nd part of the morning session is for form 5 students. The topic 'cermerlang atau malang'..focuses on how students can achieve kecermerlangan...hmmm! Really 'teruja' listening to his talk..I wish the students feel the same way!

The most important thing is..you must have a vision in life, only then you have a direction for your future. Nowadays, it's really sad to see students spent most of their time 'lepaking' sampai kesubuh, playing games, etc...rather than concentrating on their studies. With the strict entrance requirement to University, Sixth form, Technical and vocational colleges.. - life is going to be tough for student...

Hasrol...is now officially a full pledge AAC's teacher

The afternoon session was dedicated to teachers...
