Influencing Skills Programme

For the past 2 days (13 - 14 Aug 08) preoccupied with Influencing Skills Programme @ Asia Pacific Shell Learning Hub, Seria.

The aim of the prog. is to develop participants' influencing skills to purposefully interact with people effectively as well as be able to take on important opportunities both within and/or outside the organisation.

At the end of the prog. 'your greatness' should be able to:
* understand the importance of strategic influencing
* plan & prepare for important opportunities
* understand a proven framework /concerpt of influence as a foundation/guideline for applicable skills
* diagnose own influencing profile and apply the appropriate style in influencing others, both internal and external parties
* manage any conflict arising confidently.....etc..etc..

Usually, we got the perception that workshop or course is really boring...I must admit that the same thought did occur to me...listening to lecture for hours and hours really make you feel exhausted and your mind start wondering endlessly...(kira angan2 berabis...hehehe)

totally different in this workshop - there're lots of role plays..very interesting indeed! The fun thing is you are able to 'test' your acting skills...eheheeheh

What is influencing?
* The ability to affect another's character, beliefs, feelings, ideas and actions
* Geeting people to feel, think and do the things you want or need them to...
* Applying the appropriate behaviourial styles and methods to acheive a purposes...

Your Greatness....in the house...:)

Why is it important to be an influencer?
* So that you will be able to share your views or ideas across...& get what u want!

Participants are from all diverse background..we have Nigerians, Singaporian, Malaysian, American, English and off course Bruneians...
