Had an opportunity this afternoon menyerahkan derma (from generous Hamba Allah) to Dy. Hamidah bte Abd Karim a 47 years old Bruneian, Ibu tunggal staying at Barrack Lg. 3, Seria with his 16 yrs old son and a 5 year old daughter..She's been unemployed for nearly 2 years now. Currently, she been looking for job but unfortunately, couldnt find one after she's been let go after her contract with a private company ended.
At the moment she's receiving alimony of B$70 per month from her ex-husband (a mualaf) and B$130.00 from zakat fitrah. A total of B$200.00 per month..not forgetting she's has to pay:
Electricity bill, foods, water bill, clothes, education for her children..etc. After all these deductions she ended up with B$0.00.
She did not owned a car; will catch a bus ride to seria town to buy her groceries requirement. Her son really have difficulty going to school...he either catch a ride from friend or walk to school.
