Part1: How I spent my leave!

...the thoughts of taking a 1 week leave is to take sometime off from work...time for myself & miss froggie..on Tuesday I'm still contemplating where to go...ah!!!!! a very difficult choice.. KL or Singapore or KK?... or still ....

ahhhh!!!...kathmandu..land of the gurkhas and mount everest....take a one way trip and never come back...that would be a very good choice...running from everythings..nothing to care about..

Lastly decided to go to Labuan (havent been there for ages...)leave Muara on Wednesday and back by Thursday afternoon.

the lobby's of the departure hall

Brunei's Ferry terminal

Mutiara Laut II...a very quiet ride to Labuan

arrival hall...

As this is a last minit trip...I have booked any hotel yet. When to Waterfront, Marriot (ex sheraton), Hotel Mariner, Hotel Victoria and BETA Service Apartment...all are full booked damn!!!!! ngalih ku bejalan from end to end..panas kali ah!...After cursing and swearing low and high...heheheh finally found a hotel next to Malindo Restaurant - Sara Hotel..RM$160/nite.. my gawd at last...the hotel is not bad really...

after dumping my bag at the hotel...then rush to Malindo Restaurant next door...the time now is 1.30pm after hotel hunting since 10am..lapar kali ah!..Self service...the food is not bad...recommended for those visiting Labuan

Foods....try not to gelabah...eat slowly and surely..ehhehehehe

Viola!..abis jua. cos' kelaparan...ehheeh..

after resting for couple of hours... then went to Komplex Sukan Laut Antarabangsa & Muzium Marin Labuan (situated inside the Komplex Sukan Laut Antarabangsa).

reception counter...like the design. fyi. entrance to the muzium is free....

the muzium displays numerous varieties of marine life..an excellent educational trip for those who wanted to learn or find out more about marine life

Aquarium...full of coral fishes...

Sea Cow or dugung

the gallery

A pier (cum restaurant) located at the back of the Komplex. If Belait District development council is seriously looking at developing belait district...you dnt have to go far...look at Labuan!!! something to thing about...

a pier...why cant we have one in Belait..we have long stretch of beach..and we can developed water sports as part of the drive to attract tourism....and more things for us KBians to do...

preparing for lumba perahu..

brute strength & teamwork....

what I like about labuan is the 'colourful' well groomed flowers...we should have more colorful flowers planted in Belait esp. at the roundabout...it does create a serene and tranquil environment

shades were build to protect pedestrian...from the heat of the sun. A very good initiatives....

the market....

asusual..Labuan is famous for its kain....

a 24hrs KFC outlet....

...the Island of Labuan

...Mutiara II docking at Labuan ferry terminal ...waiting for passengers
