In order to ensure the public remain sensitive to the problem of road accidents and to ensure that the road safety message is brought to a wider audience throughout the country, Brunei Shell Petroleum Co. Sdn. launched the Tell-A-Friend' campaign at the oil & Gas Discovery Centre, Seria on Thursday, 17 April 2008.
Relying on the power of word-of-mouth and one to one engagement, together with the Bruneian spirit of caring and sharing, Tell-A-Friend' appeals to everyone to talk to their family and friends about the five principles of safe driving, namely wearing seat belts, observing speed limits, not using mobile phones while driving, using safety helmets while cycling and using pedestrian crossings.
