Say No to Plastic Bag & On the way back

Finally, today managed to get all of the OGDCians to pledge to say no to plastic bag....thank gawd! Its nearly a week now since adapting the no plastic bag policy....alhamduillah! havent brought home even one single plastic bag (horrrray to me!)....honestly, its aint easy and some people are still quite amused by it.

This is the first step in creating environmental awareness among OGDCians, the next stage is to inspire others to adapt the policy and to go entirely 'Green'.

We did our part trying to help the environment....but now its up to the general public and shop keepers to do their part in reducing (eliminating) the use of plastic bags

Our pledge this morning is not only to say 'no to plastic bag' but also not to waste paper in the work place esp. OGDC and to recycle papers,plastics & aluminum cans at come.

Initially...most of the kids does find it amusing....and non of them ever heard such pledge it before...

On the Way Back

On the way back from work.... jalan utara was heavily flooded, this usually happen during high tide and a heavy downpour will make matter worst...

This is not unusual for us esp those travelling from KB to Seria and vice versa....using this stretch of road, flash flood does occur very frequent. Drivers have no choice, as this is the only road to go to seria except the seria by-pass. Jalan Tengah was closed due to construction work on a bridge to reduce flooding at Panaga...

a 4x drive is a must at a time like this.....
